Brief:  To create a logo and packaging for Juel Gemstone Jewellery.

Response:  Juel is a small start-up company, yet to launch online. They create beautiful, often bespoke jewellery from semi-precious gemstones, focusing on the traditional meaning of the stones as well as their aesthetics. I created a moodboard to help me get a feel for the company and its product, and from there I researched colour (including that of the different gemstones), typography, logos and packaging before putting together my design solutions, which were presented on a design board as part of the slideshow revealed when you click on a thumbnail below. Juel really liked the concept behind the packaging and also thought that it could be taken further, and personalised packaging might be commissioned by customers ordering bespoke jewellery.
