Brief:  To create a professional looking HTML website for a food stylist and recipe writer.

Response:  As a food stylist, the focus of Anna’s site needed to be imagery of the food she has created and styled. She was keen to have two images on each page of the styling gallery and it was important to illustrate the recipes she had written in the next section of the site. We used vintage imagery of plates within the horizontal navigational menu, and vintage imagery of cutlery to tie in with this on the “about” page where images of food were less relevant. The flowers in the header are also taken from the design on the plates used in the menu. The background of the site was kept white so that the food photography could be displayed unhampered, but behind this we added a background created to look like a table cloth.
